and the season draws to a close....

Hey all...just wanted to sign the season off on a positive note. Want to firstly say a BIG thanks to all the boys for 'doin the do' this season and being a great bunch of fellas!!! Im sure im not alone when i say that if it wasnt for the Lads of Marist 3.5th Team then the season may have ended a little sooner. Thanks for hanging in there!!
Secondly, thanks to the Marist club. We do take things for granted and even tho a few 'club decisions' didnt really go the 'committed players' way - they never really let us down. I mean what other club has its own mascot that lives onsite, drinks all the team funds away and is known nationwide????
I hope we can stick at it for another season next year - would be good to build on the start we made (at the end of the season).
Personally, i think i need some boots with sprigs and need to attend a few more trainings next yr. Actually enjoyed playing, even if i did jack all. But it was nice to play again after 10yrs thinkin about it. No excuses next year.
Cant make it too the Club Finale, so have a goodie, can some1 hurl some abuse, throw some porn on and get smashed by the chicks in the drinking comps for me please - Ta.
